Dr. Anand S. Khati is a senior Civil Servant with Government of India, currently working as Director General (Human Resources) at the level of Secretary, Government of India. He has acquired qqualifications like B.Sc„ M.Sc., MBA (Enterprises Management), AMF (Global), AMP (International), LLB, PhD. He has diverse experience of working in diverse senior positions in Government of India, Chief HR Officer, Executive Director, Principal Executive Director and Additional Member, Director General/Health Services in Indian Railways. He has worked as Director and Joint Secretary with Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences. He has also shouldered responsibility as Member Secretary, Earth Commission and Member, Earth System Science Organization, Governing Council and Finance Committee Member of IITM, NIOT, INCOIS, NCAOR, CMLRE, NCESS.
He has 21 years’ exclusive experience if working in the sphere of Science and Technology with special reference to biological sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, information technology, technology commercialization and financing.
He has undergone Leaders in Development Program (Harvard University), Negotiations in Leadership (University of California, Berkley), Global Leadership Program (Kellogg Business School), Advance Executive Programme (Ratman Business School), Advance Management Programme (Bocconi Business School), Advance Management Programme (Connecticut Business School), ESCP-EA), Paris), National Management Programme (MDI).
He has collaborated with International Agencies/Organizations like WMO, UNICEF, UNDP, UNEP, ISBA, CCAMLR, SACEP and contributed globally, He wrote many books such as Encyclopedia Indica, ‘National parks of India’ ,’Jim Corbett of India’, ’Indian National parks and Sanctuaries’, The Olympics (Athens to Sydney), ’Transport and Climate Change’ (under publication)
